ILOILO – Kabug-usan nga 150 ka mga rice farmers ang nagtambong sa Farmers Field Day sa Barangay Badiangan, Mina.
Sa nasambit nga aktibidad, may ginpatigayon nga biofertilizers on-farm demonstration sa hybrid rice cluster area.
Ang techno-demo ang nagpakita sa epekto sang biofertilizers agud mapasanyog ang produksyon, mapataas ang income kag malikawan ang peste kag mga balatian sa mga tanom.
Ang mga participants halin sa 15 farmer cooperatives kag associations ang nagtutok sa epekto sang biofertilizers sa pagdako sang humay.
Suno kay Engr. Jackson Demamay, Chief sang Western Visayas Integrated Agricultural Research Center (WESVIARC), pinaagi sa research, na-modernize ang sistema sang panguma.
