ILOILO – Tuman nga nagakabalaka ang Sangguniang Panlalawigan sa nangin desisyon sang Korte Suprema nga nagapahanugot sa commercial fishing vessels nga makasulod sa municipal waters.
Sa subong, tatlo na ka mga resolution ang gin-file kag gin-approve sa provincial board nga nagapahayag sang concern sa mga manugpangisda sa Iloilo.
Una nga gin-file amo ang resolution ni 5th District Board Member Binky April Tupas nga may tigulo “Resolution Supporting the Petitions and Position Papers of different fisherfolks associations in the Province of Iloilo, and the intervention that the Provincial Government of Iloilo intends to file relative to the Supreme Court’s Resolution in G.R. No. 270929.”
Gin-suportahan pa gid ini sang duha pa ka mga resolutions nga gin-file ni 5th District Board Member Carol-V Diaz nga amo ang “Resolution Expressing grave concern and strong objection to the operation of large-scale commercial fishing companies within the 15-KM municipal water delineation in all coastal municipalities within the Province of Iloilo” kag “Resolution Appealing to the Honorable Supreme Court of the Philippines to reconsider its earlier decision which declared as unconstitutional, certain provisions of Department of Agriculture, Administrative Order No. 10 S-2015 and Implementing Rules and Regulations of RA 8550 as amended.”
Ang tatlo ka mga resolution ang gin-approve unanimously sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
Una na nga ginpahayag ni Dr. Ildefonso Toledo, Head sang Provincial Agriculture Office, nga ginatipon na sang Provincial Government ang mga petition kag position papers sang mga asosasyon sang manugpangisda agud ipadala sa Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources.
