At least 49 Filipinos residing in Israel have lost their homes since the conflict between Israel and Iran erupted, according to the Philippine Embassy in Israel.

The update came as part of a report released on Day 5 of “Operation Rising Lion,” which outlines the humanitarian situation of foreign nationals affected by the hostilities.

The embassy earlier verified that seven Filipinos had sustained injuries in the conflict. As of the latest update, five of the injured have been discharged from the hospital, while one remains in critical condition. Another individual is reported to be in moderate condition and is continuing to recover.

The embassy emphasized its commitment to closely monitoring the status of Filipino nationals in Israel to ensure they receive timely and appropriate assistance based on their needs.

A temporary shelter remains open for those who have been displaced, equipped with basic necessities and supplies.

Filipinos in need of emergency assistance can contact the Philippine Embassy through its 24/7 hotline at +972 54 466 1188 or the Assistance to Nationals hotline at +972 50 911 4017.

Israeli Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss earlier assured that the Israeli government will shoulder the medical expenses of injured Filipinos and extend financial support similar to what is being provided to Israeli citizens affected by the conflict.
