ILOILO CITY – Gin-aprubahan na sa third kag final reading sa 14th Sangguniang Panlalawigan sang Iloilo ang Provincial Ordinance No. 2022-277 ukon ang “An Ordinance Promoting the Development, Utilization, and Commercialization of Renewable Energy Resources, Iloilo Provincial Ordinance for Renewable Energy (I-PORE), Appropriating Funds Therefore, and for other Purposes”.
Sa interview sang Bombo Radyo kay Iloilo 4th District Board Member Rolando Distura, author kag sponsor sang amo nga ordinansa, iya ginpahayag nga katuyuan sini amo ang development, utilization, kag commercialization sang renewable energy resources sa probinsya sang Iloilo.
Magapain man ang probinsya sang regular annual appropriations sa balor nga indi magnubo sa katunga sang isa ka porsyento sang annual budget agud nga matigayon ang mga probisyon sang sini nga ordinansa.
Ini ang mahimo nga mangin ehemplo bangud ini ang pinakauna nga kaangay nga ordinansa sa Pilipinas.
Dugang pa ni Distura, ang proceeds nagikan sa renewable energy projects ang iga-alokar sa Iloilo Provincial Government Run/Operated Hospitals; Iloilo Provincial Government Facilities, buildings, and properties; Public Schools and Government Facilities; kag, iban nga government projects sang probinsya nga iga-identify sang Executive Committee.
Ang renewable energy resources ang ginalakipan sang biomass energy, hydropower, geothermal power, wind energy, kag solar energy.
