๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ – A man has died after being struck by a 10-wheeler truck loaded with sand along the Iloilo Radial By-Pass Road 4 in Barangay Lanit, Jaro, Iloilo City.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, truck driver Ronald Lara, 45, a resident of Passi City, shared that he was heading to Iloilo Cityโs Lapuz district from San Enrique, Iloilo, en route to a Roll-on/Roll-off vessel bound for Guimaras Island.
Lara explained that the victim, riding a motorcycle, was speeding and lost control while approaching a curve, crashing into the front of the truck. The impact sent the victim flying about 30 meters, resulting in severe head injuries.
The victimโs belongings, including pasta meant for Christmas preparations, were also destroyed in the accident.
Though rushed to the hospital in Iloilo City, the victim was declared dead on arrival.
