A devastating incident occurred this morning as Jeju Air flight 7C 2216, arriving from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed during its landing at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do, South Korea. The Boeing 737-800 aircraft was carrying 175 passengers and six crew members when it crashed at approximately 9:07 AM local time.

Emergency response teams quickly arrived at the scene, battling flames and working to evacuate passengers from the rear section of the aircraft. So far, at least 23 fatalities have been confirmed, with the number potentially rising as the search and rescue operations continue.
