πππ’πππ’ πππ§π¬ – Tribu Paghidaet of La Paz National High School made a triumphant return to the top at the Dinagyang Tribes Competition 2025, securing the coveted Grand Champion title on January 26.
Their emotionally charged performance, centered around the βTree of Life,β struck a deep chord with both the judges and the audience, emphasizing the interconnectedness of humanity, nature, and the cycle of life.
The tribeβs mesmerizing choreography was paired with a powerful narrative that underscored environmental responsibility, faith, and the eternal bond between humans and nature.
The performance not only honored SeΓ±or Santo NiΓ±o but also conveyed an urgent call to protect and preserve the environment for future generations.
Tribu Paghidaet’s victory was marked by a PHP 1.2 million grand prize, as well as multiple accolades, including Best in Costume Design & Headdress and Best in Performance.
This marks their return to the top of the Dinagyang competition, having previously claimed the title in 2013 and 2020.
The victory also marked the dethroning of Tribu Pan-ay from Fort San Pedro National High School, who had reigned as champions in 2023. Tribu Pan-ay earned the 1st Runner-Up spot this year with a PHP 700,000 prize.
