𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 – The Dinagyang Festival 2025, a world-class celebration, concluded peacefully in Iloilo City, according to local authorities.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo Iloilo, Police Lt. Col. Arnel Solis, spokesperson for the Police Regional Office 6, commended the smooth conduct of the event, even without implementing signal jamming measures.
A total of 7,257 personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and volunteer groups were deployed to ensure public safety during the festival.
Lt. Col. Solis highlighted the PNP’s ability to adapt to challenges in securing large crowds and critical government installations across the country. He praised the dedication of police officers in protecting the thousands of devotees who gathered to honor Senior Sto. Niño in this annual celebration.
The local PNP units and force multipliers also received recognition for their thorough and effective security measures, contributing to the festival’s success.
The Dinagyang Festival remains a showcase of Iloilo’s culture and devotion, drawing visitors from all over the world while maintaining safety and order.
