Manila, Philippines – In the early hours today, March 11, 2025, INTERPOL Manila received the official copy of the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for former President Rodrigo Duterte.
At 9:20 AM, Duterte, along with his group, arrived in Manila from Hong Kong aboard Cathay Pacific flight CX 907. Upon his arrival, the Prosecutor General presented the ICC notification confirming the arrest warrant for Duterte on charges of crimes against humanity.
According to government officials, Duterte and his group are in good health and underwent a medical check-up by government doctors, ensuring that he is in stable condition.
The arrest was carried out by Philippine National Police (PNP) officials, who were equipped with body cameras to ensure proper documentation of the process.
As of now, Duterte is in the custody of the authorities as they proceed with the legal process.
