ILOILO – A classroom at Dumangas National High School in Barangay Población, Dumangas, Iloilo, was broken into and burglarized.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Police Senior Master Sergeant Ronald Domines, investigator of the Dumangas Municipal Police Station, stated that a teacher discovered the break-in upon finding the classroom unlocked.

According to Domines, upon checking the room, the teacher noticed that valuables, including a laptop, were missing.

Investigators are considering the possibility that the classroom was accidentally left unlocked or that the perpetrator had access to the key.

The teacher revealed that they usually entrust the key to the security guard, as four personnel rotate duty at the school. However, they leave after their shifts end.

Authorities also found signs of attempted break-ins in other classrooms, stockrooms, and even the school canteen, where a hole was discovered in the door. via Bombo Mae Joy Amora
