ILOILO – The Motorcycle Philippines Federation (MPF) is set to host the Visayas Motorcycle Road Safety Convention on April 13, 2025, at Santa Barbara National Comprehensive High School in Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, MPF Regional Director Felix Serisola shared that the main objective of the event is to educate motorists about road safety and how to prevent or reduce motorcycle-related accidents.
According to Serisola, registration for the convention is free, and all participants will also be treated to complimentary breakfast.
One of the key topics to be discussed during the convention is a proposed Strategic Formulation that aims to be submitted to Congress. The proposal seeks to implement effective measures to curb the growing number of motorcycle accidents across the country.
The event is expected to be attended by representatives from the Department of Transportation (DOTr), Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine National Police (PNP) Highway Patrol Group, and several stakeholders and advocates. Together, they will discuss concrete steps and strategies to improve motorcycle road safety.
