ILOILO CITY – The MORE Electric and Power Corporation (MORE Power) and the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the May 12, 2025, national and local elections.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, MORE Power President and Chief Executive Officer Roel Castro assured the public of a stable and reliable electricity supply before, during, and after election day.

According to Castro, the power distributor is also preparing to deploy dedicated support teams and representatives who will be on standby to assist COMELEC officials on election day itself.

He added that the company will implement necessary preventive maintenance and provide technical support at various election centers as part of their preparations.

This partnership aims to promote a peaceful and orderly electoral process, strengthened through the commitment to dependable electricity service.
