Two graduates from Iloilo schools were among the topnotchers in the March 2025 Physician Licensure Examination, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Krisha Marie Badillo of West Visayas State University (WVSU) in La Paz ranked 5th, achieving a rating of 86.50%. Notably, she also topped the 2018 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination.

Klarence Razon Alovera, a graduate of Iloilo Doctors’ College, secured the 10th spot with a rating of 85.50%.

Out of 3,827 examinees, only 1,901 passed the exam, translating to a national passing rate of 49.67%.

Adrian Eleazar Go from Cebu Institute of Medicine topped the board with an impressive score of 87.75%. Meanwhile, Xavier University was named the top-performing school, boasting a passing rate of 80.70%.

The PRC also noted in its announcement: “The results of the examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.”

The Board of Medicine conducted the licensure exam last month in several locations, including the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
