A 63-year-old employee of the House of Representatives was shot and killed by unidentified assailants while attending his child’s birthday celebration in Commonwealth, Quezon City.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of June 15, at around 3:00 p.m., according to initial police investigations.
Reports indicate that two unidentified men entered the venue and shot the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle.
The suspects remain at large.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the motive and identify the perpetrators.
