‘Standby ka lang’ —Jeffrey Celiz kay VP Sara samtang padayon ang INC rally sa EDSA

Nagpanawagan ang Ilonggo social media personality kag political commentator nga si Jeffrey “Ka Eric” Celiz nga dapat mag-standby na si Vice President Sara Duterte pananglitan may pag-ilis sa liderato.

Ginpahayag ini ni Celiz samtang naga-upod sa rally nga gin-organisar sang Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) sa EDSA.

Pahayag ni Celiz, nagapanawagan sila sang pag-ilis sang liderato sa paagi nga nagasunod sa konstitusyon kag wala sang matabo nga ginamo, kudeta, kag rebolusyon.

Dugang sini, kun mag-resign si President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. nga sunod sa Konstitution, dapat nga ang Vice President ang maga-assume sang pwesto.

“Nananawagan kami kay Vice President Sara Duterte to be on standby. When the sovereign will of the people dito sa EDSA ngayon ay mananawagan, dapat handa ang Vice President na sumunod sa panawagan ng mamamayang Pilipino,” suno kay Celiz.

Yara man sa tupad ni Celiz si former Presidential Adviser on Political Affairs Jacinto “Jing” Paras nga nagpahayag nga dapat mag-upod sa ila sa rally si Duterte bangud siya ang lider.

Nagpahayag naman sang suporta ang bise presidente sa amo nga protesta.

Sa iya official statement, ginsiling ni Duterte nga ang protesta nagapakita sang iya ginatawag nga nagadamo nga sentimyento sang publiko nga iya na ginapabutyag halin pa sang tuig 2024.

Suno sa bise presidente, madamo nga mga Pilipino ang padayon nga nagaatubang sang pagsaka sang presyo sang mga balaklon, kakulangan sang kasiguruhan sa trabaho, kag nagataas nga gasto sa adlaw-adlaw nga pangabuhi.

“Instead of confronting these challenges with solutions, the administration has chosen to silence dissent under the guise of accountability. It has weaponized the justice system by filing cases against and imprisoning individuals who dare speak out against alleged corruption and abuses in Malacañang, question the administration’s competence, or criticize the President, including allegations concerning his drug use. Such actions raise serious concerns about the state of free expression, democratic accountability, and the shrinking space for legitimate political dissent,” kabahin sang pahayag ni Duterte.
