READ: STATEMENT SANG ILOILO CITY GOVERNMENT ANGOT SA 2025 COA AUDIT REPORT

The Iloilo City Government has consistently acted on COA’s recommendations, recording a 99.1% “positive action rate” on audit action items covering 2025 and prior years from 2020–2024, based on its Implementation Report.

Yara sa 63.5% ang fully implemented and 35.7% ang partially implemented with ongoing corrective action. This means substantial action has been taken.

Ang nabilin nga 0.9% wala pa na-implement.

The report also records 100% implementation of the tracked action items on procurement compliance, engineering transparency, and social welfare GAD attributions, strengthening documentation, project monitoring and GAD processes.

The CTO continues its notices and follow-ups while pursuing direct crediting to barangay accounts.

COA also issued an unmodified opinion on the City Government’s financial statements for the years ended December 31, 2024 and 2025, indicating Iloilo City’s fair presentation.

The corrective actions are covered by the Agency Action Plan and Status of Implementation. The reported progress remains subject to COA verification and assessment in the next audit report, expected in 2027.
