The Batad Municipal Police Station has extended assistance and support to the family of a civilian who died in a road accident involving a police patrol car in Barangay Natividad, Barotac Viejo.
The victim was identified as John Baldomero, 44 years old, a resident of Barangay Alinsulong, Batad.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Police Captain John Predic Padilla, chief of the Batad Municipal Police Station, said the police have already provided initial aid to the bereaved family, including groceries and burial assistance.
Padilla assured the family that the police are prepared to offer additional support should the need arise.
Meanwhile, three police officers who were onboard the patrol car were also injured in the accident. They are currently recovering. The injured officers were identified as Police Master Sergeant Renante Fuentes, who was driving the vehicle, Police Master Sergeant Francis John Aricaya, and Police Corporal Joseph Asturias.
