A significant oil price hike will be implemented tomorrow, December 23.
The estimated price adjustments are as follows:
Gasoline: Increase of P0.50 per liter
Diesel: Decrease of P1.45 per liter
Kerosene: Decrease of P0.75 per liter
According to Rodela Romero, Assistant Director of the Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau, the increase in fuel prices is attributed to the geopolitical situation in the Middle East and delayed output hikes from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
Motorists are advised to prepare for the price changes and adjust their budgets accordingly.
