ILOILO – Despite facing one of life’s toughest battles, Bombo Rod Jaen Losbañes Gallarde bravely fought against breast cancer and emerged victorious, drawing strength from her faith in God and the unwavering support of her family.
During an interview, Bombo Rod Jaen disclosed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2021.
Since her family had a history of cancer, she immediately underwent an ultrasound and biopsy, which later confirmed that the lump in her breast was malignant.
With the support of her husband and family, she made the courageous decision to undergo surgery and treatment.
After a successful operation, she prayed for a negative biopsy result. Her prayers were answered, but she still had to undergo chemotherapy.
On June 4, 2021, she began her chemotherapy treatment, which she completed on November 17, 2021.
Now, she is cancer-free and continues to live a life of faith, surrounded by her loving husband and child.
