American singer Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted assault involving a tequila bottle in connection with an incident at a London nightclub in 2023.
The 36-year-old artist is accused of launching an “unprovoked attack” on music producer Abraham Diaw. Brown appeared at Southwark Crown Court alongside co-defendant Omolulu Akinlolu, 38, who also denied the allegations.
Both men were released on bail and are scheduled to return to court on July 11 for a potential hearing on a lesser charge of “actual bodily harm.”
Authorities also disclosed that Brown is facing a separate case related to alleged possession of a dangerous weapon, although he has not yet been formally charged in connection with it.
The trial is set to begin on October 26, 2026.
Brown, a two-time Grammy Award winner, was arrested in Manchester last month after returning to the UK for his “Breezy Bowl XX” tour. He was released on £5 million bail.
