𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 – Residents affected by a recent fire in Barangay Tacas, Jaro, Iloilo City are currently staying at the Barangay Hall and the newly constructed Health Center.
The fire resulted in the total destruction of 24 houses, while 5 others were partially burned.
A total of 25 families, or 93 individuals, have been displaced from the completely burned homes, and 5 families, with 22 individuals, are affected by the partial damage.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Punong Barangay Joseph Poral confirmed that the Iloilo City Government has already extended assistance to the victims.
According to Poral, the Bureau of Fire Protection is still investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the value of the destroyed properties.
