𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 – Flower vendors took advantage of Valentine’s Day to increase their sales, hoping to earn more during the special occasion.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Manang Ching, a flower vendor at the Iloilo Central Market, shared that they only sell flowers during this season to cater to couples and individuals celebrating love.

According to her, flower prices range from ₱100 to ₱2,000, depending on the type and arrangement.

Customers can also request customized bouquets.

She remains optimistic that they will recover their capital with the strong demand for flowers.

  • Tulips – ₱150 per stem
  • Roses
    • ₱100 per stem
    • 3-stem bouquet – ₱500
    • 6-stem bouquet – ₱1,000
  • Carnations
    • ₱100 per stem
    • 1 dozen – ₱2,000
  • Ecuadorian Roses
    • ₱350 per stem
    • 3-stem bouquet – ₱1,500
  • Sunflowers
    • ₱350 per stem
    • 3-stem bouquet – ₱1,500
  • Stargazers – ₱400 per stem

With Valentine’s Day being one of the busiest times for flower vendors, they remain hopeful that customers will continue to support their business.
