Attention, motorists!

After three consecutive weeks of fuel price rollbacks, fuel prices are set to rise again in the last week of March.

According to Rodela Romero, Assistant Director III of the Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau, the price adjustment is based on four days of trading. The expected price increases are as follows:

  • Gasoline: ₱0.60 – ₱1.00 per liter
  • Diesel: ₱0.10 – ₱0.50 per liter
  • Kerosene: ₱0.10 – ₱0.30 per liter

Several factors are influencing the price hike, including Israel’s expansion of ground operations in Gaza, escalating tensions in the Middle East, China’s new consumption action plan, and the decline in U.S. oil inventories.

The final price adjustments will be announced on Monday and will take effect on Tuesday.
