A 59-year-old groom-to-be was shot dead just hours before his wedding after attending his bachelor’s party in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
The victim, identified as Andres Dacquioag, suffered gunshot wounds to the head and back.
According to police reports, the incident occurred outside a convenience store, where Dacquioag was with his fiancée when an unidentified assailant shot him.
Dacquioag was immediately rushed to the hospital but was declared dead shortly after arriving.
The couple was supposed to get married on the same day of the incident, ending their years of living together as partners.
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to identify the shooter and determine the motive behind the attack.
