For the first time since Israel resumed its military offensive in Gaza, Hamas launched three rockets at Tel Aviv.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intercepted one missile, while the others landed in uninhabited areas.
According to the Hamas-run Gaza health ministry, at least 591 people, including over 200 children, have been killed since fighting resumed on Tuesday.
On Thursday, the IDF initiated a ground operation in Gaza, targeting areas in Rafah and the Netzarim Corridor. Israel said its actions aim to dismantle Hamas infrastructure and create a buffer zone between northern and southern Gaza.
The Israeli government blames Hamas for the renewed violence, stating the group rejected hostage negotiations.
Israel claims Hamas is still holding 59 hostages, with 24 believed to be alive.
