TABOGON, CEBU– The lifeless body of a 6-year-old boy, identified only as “Jio,” was discovered decapitated in a river at Sitio Mangga, Barangay Libjo, Tabogon, Cebu, on January 17, 2025.
Jio had been missing since January 9, 2025.
Authorities conducted an extensive search operation for several days before his body was found in the river.
The tragic discovery has left the community in shock and mourning.
As of now, investigations are ongoing to uncover the circumstances surrounding the crime.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in solving the case and bringing justice to the victim and his family.
