Sa exclusive interview sang Bombo Radyo Iloilo, ginpahayag ni ICC Spokesperson Fadi El Abaddah nga apisar nag-atras na ang Pilipinas, indi pa ini epektibo kag may jurisdiction ang korte nga imbestigaran ang anuman nga krimen nga nahimo sang isa ka tawo nga gina-imbestigaran, kun ini ang nahimo samtang party pa sa Rome Statute ang isa ka pungsod.

“As a matter of general principle, then we need to highlight again that the Philippines ratified the Rome Statute on August 2011 and the statute entered into force from the first of November 2011. Even after the withdrawal, the ICC retains juridisction over that may have been committed during the period when Philippines was a state party. This is something that has been recently confirmed by an executory chamber decision about the situation in Burundi. And so the Court is independent. It works in independent and impartial way. Any legal argument can be actually discussed within the adequate framework that is allowed within the Statute and the court remains fully committed to its independent mandate to end the impunity in a complimentary manner with the state and by doing so, we contribute to the prevention of future atrocities,” suno kay Abaddah sa interview sang Bombo Radyo Iloilo.
