𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 – Iloilo City Lone District Representative Julienne “Jamjam” Baronda expressed heartfelt gratitude to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for granting executive clemency to former Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.
In a statement, Baronda shared that the prayers of thousands of Ilonggos, who witnessed Mayor Mabilog’s dedication to the city, have been answered.
She highlighted how Mabilog selflessly served Iloilo City, always showing love and commitment to its people.
“Justice is served,” Baronda said, reflecting on the long journey of the Mabilog family, which has endured immense challenges.
Baronda also extended her gratitude to the Almighty for the strength bestowed upon the Mabilog family during these times.
The momentous news was delivered in a letter from the Office of the President, with Mrs. Marivic Mabilog, the former mayor’s wife, being the first to read the executive clemency letter.
This marks a significant and joyous chapter for the Mabilog family and their supporters in Iloilo.
