π—œπ—Ÿπ—’π—œπ—Ÿπ—’ π—–π—œπ—§π—¬ – Iloilo City Mayor Jerry TreΓ±as has announced the suspension of face-to-face classes at all levels in the city today, January 27, Monday, due to the celebration of the Dinagyang Festival 2025.

In accordance with Executive Order No. 011, series of 2025, the suspension aims to ensure public safety and facilitate participation in the cultural festivities.

Speaking to Bombo Radyo, Dr. Maria Luz Delos Reyes, Superintendent of the Schools Division of Iloilo City, assured the public that the suspension will not significantly disrupt students’ learning.

She emphasized that schools are prepared to implement modular or online learning as alternative modes of education.

Despite the absence of face-to-face classes, schools remain open, and all school personnel are expected to be present for duty.

In addition to class suspensions, work in the Iloilo City Government offices has also been canceled for the day as per Executive Order No. 001, series of 2025.

This measure comes in light of the recently concluded Dinagyang Festival.

However, essential government offices and services will remain operational to ensure the public’s needs are adequately addressed.
