A Low Pressure Area (LPA) has been detected outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
However, the chances of it developing into a Tropical Depression in the next 24 hours are considered low.
The LPA was located about 260 kilometers west-northwest of Pag-asa Island, Kalayaan, Palawan.
Authorities have advised the public to stay informed through updates from weather centers.
Meanwhile, the Shear Line is currently affecting the Central and Southern Luzon regions.
A shear line is a narrow area where there is a sudden change in wind direction, causing air masses to converge.
This leads to frequent thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.
Additionally, the Northeast Monsoon, or Amihan, continues to affect Northern Luzon, bringing cooler and drier conditions to the area.
