Filipina death row convict Mary Jane Veloso has finally arrived in the Philippines.

Veloso’s plane landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 at around 6:00 AM today.

She was arrested in Indonesia for alleged involvement in drug trafficking.

In 2010, she was caught with 2.6 kilos of illegal drugs in her luggage when she arrived in Yogyakarta.

In November, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. confirmed that an agreement had been reached between the Philippine and Indonesian governments to transfer Veloso back to the Philippines.

Veloso is now set to serve her sentence at the Correctional Institution for Women in Mandaluyong City.
