𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 – A beauty queen has received what she considers the “best gift” this Christmas after passing the November 2024 Licensure Examination for Dentists.
Dr. Cara Jeanne Sullano-Del Carmen, a native of Sta. Barbara, Iloilo, is the daughter of Philippine Councilors League (PCL) Iloilo Chapter President Hon. Ramon “Monsik” Sullano and Dr. Maria Rebecca Fernandez-Sullano.
Del Carmen was crowned Miss Central Philippine University 2006, Miss Dinagyang 2007, and Miss Western Visayas PRISAA 2010. She is also a registered nurse and a former flight attendant.
She is one of the 873 passers out of the 1,287 candidates who took the exam.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Del Carmen shared that becoming a dentist was her dream since she was a child, inspired by her mother, Dr. Maria Rebecca Sullano, who is also a dentist.
Del Carmen completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Central Philippine University in 2011. Later, she worked as a flight attendant before deciding to pursue dentistry, completing her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Iloilo Doctors’ College in 2024.
Looking ahead, Del Carmen plans to follow in her mother’s footsteps as a dentist and serve the public, much like her father, who is a dedicated public servant.
