No Low Pressure Area (LPA) is currently being monitored within the Philippine territory, according to the latest weather update.
The previously observed LPA outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has not developed into a Tropical Depression.
Weather systems affecting the country include the Shear Line, which is influencing the eastern section of Northern Luzon. This phenomenon occurs when winds with different characteristics converge, often causing thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.
Meanwhile, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is affecting Southern Mindanao. This zone, where winds from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres meet, is known for triggering bad weather, including LPAs and tropical cyclones.
The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan continues to impact extreme Northern Luzon, bringing cold winds and light rains.
Residents in affected areas are advised to stay updated on weather advisories and take necessary precautions.
