๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ข ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ – Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treรฑas has announced new regulations for the Iloilo Sunset Boulevard following a series of recent controversies, during a press conference at the Iloilo City Hall today.
The mayor emphasized that the city is collaborating closely with several government agencies, including the Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) and the Land Transportation Office (LTO)-6, to enforce new measures.
One of the key initiatives includes the installation of a breath analyzer in the area.
Starting today, ambulant vendors will be prohibited from selling at Sunset Boulevard without the proper permits.
Vendors must secure both special and sanitary permits from the city government before resuming business.
In addition, the city government will strictly enforce rules regarding pets, particularly dogs, along the boulevard.
While families are still welcome to picnic, the consumption of alcohol will no longer be permitted.
The recent issues at the Sunset Boulevard have raised concerns about improper waste disposal and disputes over parking spaces.
