ILOILO CITY – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) successfully apprehended 545 wanted persons across the Western Visayas region in a monthlong manhunt operation.
Breakdown of Arrests by Police Units
The following police units contributed to the arrest of Most Wanted Persons (MWPs):
- Aklan Police Provincial Office (AkPPO) – 3 arrests
- Antique Police Provincial Office (AntPPO) – 3 arrests
- Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) – 3 arrests
- Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) – 23 arrests
- Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) – 25 arrests
- Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) – 11 arrests
- Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) – 6 arrests
- Regional Mobile Force Battalion 6 (RMFB6) – 1 arrest
- Criminal Investigation and Detection Group 6 (CIDG-6) – 1 arrest
Meanwhile, the 469 Other Wanted Persons (OWPs) were arrested by:
- AkPPO – 25
- AntPPO – 18
- CPPO – 22
- Guimaras PPO – 10
- IPPO – 65
- NOCPPO – 245
- BCPO – 37
- ICPO – 40
- RMFB6 – 6
- CIDG-RFU 6 – 1
Over 500 Operations in One Month
According to Police Lt. Col. Arnel Solis, spokesperson of PRO-6, a total of 523 operations were conducted in February 2025.
Out of the 545 arrested individuals, 76 were classified as Most Wanted Persons, while 469 were Other Wanted Persons.
Among the Most Wanted Persons, five were listed at the regional level, 17 at the provincial level, and 54 at the municipal level.
The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) recorded the highest number of arrests, with 270 apprehensions, accounting for 49% of the total arrests.

Police Brigadier General Jack L. Wanky, director of PRO-6, commended the tracker teams across the region for their dedication in locating and apprehending wanted individuals.
