Suno kay House panel chair Eric Yap, aprobado na ang Fiscal Year 2021 General Appropriations Bill kun sa diin ang proposed 2021 national budget ang 9.9% nga mas mataas kun ipaanggid sa P4.1 trillion nga pondo sa subong nga tuig.
Nauna nga ginpahayag ni Budget Secretary Wendel Avisado nga ang kalabanan sa 2021 national budget ang pagagamiton para COVID-19 response ilabi na sa healthcare systems, food security, pagtuga sang madamo nga trabaho paagi sa labor intensive projects, pagpasangkad sang digital government and economy kag pagbulig sa nanari-sari nga sektor.
Ang education sector nga ginalakipan sang Department of Education, State Universities and Colleges, Commission on Higher Education kag Technical Education and Skills Development Authority ang makabaton sang “biggest chunk” nga nagalab-ot sa P754.4 billion.
Nagasunod ang Department of Public Works and Highways nga may P667.3 billion, Department of the Interior and Local Government nga may P246.1 billion, Department of National Defense nga may P209.1 billion kag Department of Health nga may P203.1 billion.
Yara man sa listahan sang mga ahensya nga may biggest allocation amo ang Department of Social Welfare and Development nga may P171.2 billion, Department of Transportation nga may P143.6 billion, Department of Agriculture nga may P66.4 billion, Judiciary nga may P43.5 billion kag Department of Labor and Employment nga may P27.5 billion.
Ang committee report para sa 2021 General Appropriations Bill ang igaduso sa plenaryo sa Lunes, Steyembre 28, samtang sa hapon naman ang sponsorship kag target nga maaprobahan sang Senado sa Oktubre 14.
