Employees of the Iloilo Provincial Government are set to receive P47,000 in incentives this December following the approval of Appropriation Ordinance No. 2024-04 and Appropriation Ordinance No. 2024-05 by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Iloilo 4th District Board Member Domingo Oso Jr., Chairman of the Committee on Appropriations, explained that the ordinances provide for Supplemental Budgets No. 3 and No. 4. These budgets cover a Productivity Enhancement Incentive of P5,000, a Collective Negotiation Agreement Incentive of P22,000, and a Service Recognition Incentive of P20,000.

Oso stated that he is set to sign the ordinances for processing and final approval by Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr.

He added that, according to the mandate of the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), the incentives must be distributed to employees no later than December 31.

Eligible recipients include provincial government officials, regular employees, contractual workers, and casual employees. Additionally, job hires will receive gratuity pay.
