Nasuya si former Presidential Chief Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo sa ginhimo sang National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) nga pagpasaka sang kaso batok kay Vice President Sara Duterte.
Gin-file sa Department of Justice (DOJ) ang reklamo nga inciting to sedition and grave threat batok sa bise presidente kahapon, Pebrero 12.
Suno kay Panelo, dapat magbalik sa law school si NBI Director Jaime Santiago bangud wala man sang basehan sa kamatuoran kag sa layi ang ila complaint batok kay Sara.
May lamod-pamulitika ang tikang sang NBI suno kay Panelo, kag isa man ka demolition job para nga indi makadayon si Sara sa presidential race sa 2028.
Dugang sini, uyang lang sa kuwarta sang taxpayers ang criminal complaints batok kay Sara. Dapat suno sa iya nga magtutok na lang ang NBI sa pagpauntat sa mga criminal sa paghimo sang dugang nga krimen.
“The Director of the NBI should go back to law school… There can be no crime of a ‘threat’ from the grave,” suno sa long-time Duterte defender. “Neither has VP Sara publicly and tumultuously incited the people to perform acts of sedition as defined by law or to go against the constituted authorities or to stop the enforcement of laws.”
“It obviously is tainted with politics, and still part of the demolition job on her by her political enemies to put her out of contention in the presidential race of 2028,” dugang sini. “The NBI should instead focus on stopping criminals from committing crimes or filing charges against them instead of harassing VP Sara with ludicrous and baseless criminal complaints. It’s a waste of taxpayers money.”
