MANILA – A Philippine Air Force (PAF) FA-50 fighter jet went missing early Tuesday, March 4, during a Tactical Nights Operation, the PAF confirmed.
PAF spokesperson Col. Maria Consuelo Castillo said the aircraft lost communication with the rest of the flight shortly after midnight.
“Shortly after midnight on March 4, 2025, an FA-50 fighter jet went missing,” Castillo said in a statement.
Authorities have yet to determine the aircraft’s last known location and the status of its crew.
Search and rescue operations are now in progress to locate the missing jet.
