Suno sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), ini nga joint exercise sa sulod sang exclusive economic zone (EEZ) sang Pilipinas ang nagalakip sang duha ka barko sa tuyo nga mapaayo pa ang communication and operational coordination sa tunga sang duha ka navies.
Lakip diri ang communications check exercise, division tactics, officer of the watch maneuver exercise, photographic exercise, kag cross deck exercise.
Pahayag pa sang militar, ang mayor nga katuyuan sini amo ang mapapag-on pa ang interoperability kag cooperative capabilities sang Philippine Navy kag sang US Navy para nga mangin handa para sa mga operasyon nga naangot sa maritime security kag stability sa rehiyon.
“These joint exercises with our ally are crucial in enhancing our naval capabilities and ensuring that we can effectively collaborate to safeguard our maritime interests. The partnership between the Philippine Navy and the United States Navy continues to be a pillar of regional stability,” pahayag ni AFP chief General Romeo Brawner.
“The successful execution of these maritime exercises underscores the strong defense ties between the Philippines and the United States and their shared commitment to upholding freedom of navigation and a rules-based order in the Indo-Pacific region,” kabahin naman sang statement sang AFP.#
