𝗜𝗟𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 –The Philippine National Police (PNP) has assured the safety of Western Visayas during the holiday season, despite no serious threats being monitored in the region.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo Iloilo, Police Lt. Col. Arnel Solis, spokesperson for Police Regional Office 6, said that the police are continuing their proactive measures in crowded areas across the region.
Thousands of police officers will be deployed throughout the region as part of “Ligtas Paskuhan 2024.”
In preparation for the expected increase in economic activities this Christmas season, a “no leave policy” was implemented starting December 15.
