Naghingyo sang pangamuyo si Batangas Representative Rep. kag House Lead Prosecutor Gerville Luistro antes ang pormal nga pagsugod sang impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sa iya mensahe sa misa sa Immaculate Conception Cathedral sa Quezon City, nagsiling si Luistro nga ginakilala sang prosecution team ang ila mga limitasyon, apang nagapati siya nga ang suporta kag pangamuyo sang mga tumuluo ang magahatag sa ila sang kusog sa bug-os nga dalagan sang trial.
Dugang pa niya, may dungog ang pagtindog para sa accountability kag sa paghatag sang proteksyon sa interes sang mga Pilipino.
“It is not easy to be at the center of different opinions regarding the impeachment process. Nevertheless, we believe that there is honor to be at the forefront of this accountability mechanism, there is glory in defending the interest of the Filipino people. And there’s fulfillment to be at the forefront in upholding what the Constitution mandates,” suno kay Luistro.
“We acknowledge our limitations, we acknowledge our imperfections, we acknowledge all our insufficiencies. But let me tell you, my dear brothers and sisters, all your prayers overpower them; all your support overpower them. Ultimately, everybody’s love for the Philippine nation overpower whatever the prosecution team lacks,” dugang sini.
Ginbalikan pa sini ang pahanumdom sang iya iloy nga dapat specific kag makusog ang pangamuyo, gani naghingyo ini nga ipangamuyo nga ma-convict si Duterte.
“My mother said that when we are praying, we have to be clear. We have to be specific. And we have to be strong. Join us as we pray for the conviction of the respondent in this impeachment trial,” dugang sini.
Ginpangabay man ni Luistro ang publiko nga pangamuyuan indi lang ang prosecution panel kundi pati ang defense team, ang mga senator-judges, kag ang bug-os nga pungsod.
“And that is why we would like to thank and request let us pray harder. Let us pray hardest, not only for the House prosecutors, not only for the private prosecutors — our beloved priests’ prayers are correct — let us pray even for the defense team.”
Nagtambong man sa misa ang iban pa nga mga miyembro sang prosecution panel lakip sanday Representatives Leila de Lima, Joel Chua, Ysabel Maria Zamora, Lorenz Defensor, kag Kaka Bag-ao, kaupod ang private prosecutors nga sanday Lorna Kapunan kag Marforth Fua.
