Nagbalibad si Davao City First District Rep. Paolo Duterte nga mag-atubang sa imbestigasyon sang Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) kaangot sa mga ginapahayag nga iregularidad sa flood control projects.
Sa ginsapubliko nga sulat sang kongresista kay ICI Chair Andres Reyes Jr., ginpahayag sini nga wala sang gahum ang panel nga ipatawag siya bilang mamalidha.
“I am a sitting member of Congress. Considering that ICI is a creation of President Marcos, Jr. per E.O. No. 94, the ICI appears without power nor jurisdiction over me,” kabahin sang iya statement.
Gintawag man sini nga “vague and ambiguous” ang request sang ICI nga mag-atubang siya sa ila.
Ginlakip man ni Duterte sa iya sulat ang mga alegasyon batok kay President Bongbong Marcos Jr., iya pamilya, kag former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
“I feel that ICI must immediately investigate President Marcos Jr., his family and ex-Speaker Romualdez, forthwith, most especially flood control and other infrastructure projects in Regions I and VIII from 2022 to 2025, and incidentally all projects prior thereto from 2000 to 2025,” suno pa kay Duterte.
