A Grade 7 student tragically drowned after skipping class and swimming at a resort in Barangay Elizalde, Maco, Davao de Oro.
The victim, identified only as “Mark,” was found lifeless in the resort’s swimming pool.
According to police reports, the student left school during break time and did not return to class.
Instead, he went to the resort to swim.
Investigators believe the victim may have ventured into the deeper part of the pool, which likely led to his drowning.
