A teacher has proven that determination and perseverance can lead to success despite life’s hardships.

Andrea Panagane, 27, a resident of Barangay Hipgos, Lambunao, Iloilo, shared her inspiring journey in an interview with Bombo Radyo.

Panagane revealed that she lost her father when she was just five months old. At the age of two, her mother also left her.

She was raised by her grandparents in Barangay Panuran, Lambunao. However, tragedy struck again when her grandmother passed away while she was in her second year of high school. Her grandfather also passed away when she was in her second year of college.

Despite financial struggles, Panagane remained determined to finish her education. With the help of her adviser and relatives, she was able to enroll in an education course at West Visayas State University – Lambunao Campus.

Through hard work and perseverance, she graduated and fulfilled her dream of becoming a teacher.

Today, Panagane serves as a senior high school teacher at Caninguan National High School in Lambunao, Iloilo, inspiring students with her story of resilience.
