ILOILO CITY – The Iloilo City Government will install temporary traffic signs along Sunset Boulevard in response to a series of road accidents in the area.

In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Retired Police Colonel Uldarico Garbanzos, head of the Iloilo City Traffic and Transportation Management Office, stated that the project is still under partial turnover between the city and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

According to Garbanzos, improvements in the area are ongoing, and the lack of traffic signs has contributed to road accidents.

To address this, the city has taken the initiative to produce temporary traffic signs printed on tarpaulins to guide motorists, especially at the intersection in Sooc, Arevalo.

Meanwhile, Garbanzos advised motorists to drive cautiously and reduce speed to prevent further accidents.
