Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon has ordered the dismissal of three airport security personnel allegedly involved in a bullet-planting scam at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
On March 6, the three security officers stopped passengers Ruth and Cai Abel, a mother and daughter bound for Vietnam, claiming that a bullet was found in their luggage. After over five minutes of inspection, no bullet was discovered in their belongings.
According to Ruth, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) has assured them of legal assistance in filing charges against the involved airport security personnel.
