TIGBAUAN, ILOILO – A caretaker from Barangay Binaliuan Menor was surprised by the unusual appearance of a piglet born yesterday in the area. Romulo “Molong” Tubola, the caretaker of a piggery, described his shock upon seeing the piglet’s face, which had no nostrils, a protruding tongue, and a single eye.
In an interview with Bombo Radyo, Tubola explained that this piglet was one of nine born to a sow he was tending. He mentioned that the piglet was unable to nurse from its mother, so he had to feed it with water mixed with sugar.
Tubola clarified that he has no plans to sell the rare piglet, as he intends to raise it himself.
Despite its deformities, the caretaker remains hopeful for its survival.
This unexpected discovery has caught the attention of locals in Tigbauan, raising curiosity about the condition of the piglet and the possibility of similar cases in the future.
