Pahayag ni Tedros: “It would be very difficult to say for sure that we will have a vaccine. We never had a vaccine for a coronavirus. So this will be, when discovered, hoping that it will be discovered, it will be the first one.”
Sa subong, may yara sang 100 ka candidates para sa vaccine kag ang isa ang kumpirmado nga yara na sa “advanced stage of development.”
“Hoping that there will be a vaccine, the estimate is we may have a vaccine within one year. If accelerated, it could be even less than that, but by a couple of months. That’s what scientists are saying,” dugang pa ni Tedros.
Santo sa record sang WHO, sa subong, nagdangat na sa 9,500,200 ang COVID-19 cases sa 196 ka mga pungsod; sa sini nga numero, 483,872 ang napatay, samtang 4,699,300 naman ang nakarecover.
