Motorists, brace yourselves!

Another round of fuel price increases will take effect on Monday, March 25.

According to Rodela Romero, Assistant Director III of the Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau, the price adjustments are based on four days of trading.

Here are the expected price increases:

Gasoline – ₱1.10 per liter

Diesel – ₱0.40 per liter

Kerosene – ₱0.40 per liter

The price hike is driven by several global factors, including Israel’s expanded ground operations in Gaza, rising tensions in the Middle East, China’s new consumption action plan, and the decline in U.S. oil inventories.
